Job summary

Sumsub is seeking a Financial Analyst to strengthen product and commercial finance analytics. This role will turn operational and accounting data into insights that guide business decisions.

You will reconcile billing, dashboards and accounting data, investigate discrepancies and ensure consistent metric definitions across reports.

The ideal candidate has a Finance/Accounting degree with 4+ years of FP&A or audit experience, advanced Excel and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field with 4+ years of experience.
• Strong accounting knowledge across P&L, balance sheet and accruals, with experience working directly with accountants.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with large datasets, reconciliations or financial models.
• Investigative mindset with attention to detail: trace figures to source data and explain variances.
• Ability to translate business questions into metrics, reporting requirements and insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product and commercial performance, linking revenue, costs and margins to drivers.
• Reconcile billing, dashboards and accounting data, investigate discrepancies and keep metrics definitions consistent.
• Compare actual results with budgets/forecasts and explain material variances.
• Verify cost completeness, accruals, allocations and timing of expense recognition with accountants.
• Analyze product cost drivers, unit costs and profitability with transparent allocations.
• Build and improve recurring reports and dashboards with Analytics/IT.
• Prepare concise management presentations and follow up on discrepancies.
