Job summary

YO IT Consulting is seeking a Finance Associate for a remote, contract role. You will manage accounts payable and receivable, perform bookkeeping in QuickBooks, and prepare financial reports.

Strong Google Sheets skills and excellent communication are essential to succeed in a fast-paced, remote environment. Candidates should have 2–3 years of relevant experience and be based in the USA or eligible to work remotely across regions.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience as a Staff Accountant, Accounting Associate, Bookkeeper, or Accountant.
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks for day-to-day financial management.
• Strong command of Google Sheets, including formulas and data organization.
• Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping, transaction recording, and financial data management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal review.
• Maintain and optimize financial data within Google Sheets for better reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support budget adherence and financial compliance.
• Assist with ad hoc financial projects and provide support during audits.
• Remain available for weekend or extended hours as needed to meet business demands.
