Crossing Hurdles is seeking a remote contract QuickBooks Accounting Specialist to manage end-to-end bookkeeping workflows, perform bank reconciliations, and structure financial reporting pipelines. The role offers flexible hours and a 100% remote setup across the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

• Directing day-to-day accounting transactions, general ledger entries, and financial tracking using QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop.
• Invoicing & Bill Payment Operations: Managing end-to-end accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) workflows, tracking vendor payments, and generating accurate client billing statements.
• Bank Reconciliations & Ledger Auditing: Performing rigorous bank, credit card, and account reconciliations to ensure complete financial data accuracy and resolve balance discrepancies.
• Financial Statement Preparation: Generating, reviewing, and analyzing Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports for executive leadership.
• Chart of Accounts & Process Improvement: Maintaining structured Master Charts of Accounts, vendor/customer databases, and identifying workflow bottlenecks to optimize financial operations.
