Job summary

Remotedxb is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to assist with daily transactions, reconciliations, and financial reporting in a remote-friendly role based in Dubai. You will support accounts payable and accounts receivable, process invoices, expenses, payments, and receipts, while maintaining accurate records.

Ideal candidates have education in Finance or Accounting, experience processing financial transactions, and proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role.
• Relevant education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience processing financial transactions, invoices, and expenses
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Basic understanding of reconciliations and financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
• English proficiency for communication with clients and vendors

Responsibilities

• Assist with recording and processing daily financial transactions
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Process invoices, expenses, payments, and receipts
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist with bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
• Prepare and update spreadsheets, financial reports, and account summaries
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Communicate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders
