Job summary

Remotedxb seeks an Accounting Assistant to join a fully remote team in the UAE. You will assist with recording daily financial transactions, entering invoices and expenses, and supporting accounts payable/receivable activities.

You’ll reconcile bank records and maintain organized documentation, contributing to month-end close efforts. The role requires independent work in a remote environment, strong English communication with clients and vendors, and solid spreadsheet and finance system skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance roles.
• Understanding of invoices, payments and reconciliations.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and financial systems.
• Strong computer and digital literacy.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recording daily financial transactions.
• Enter invoices, expenses and payments into systems.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Reconcile bank accounts and card statements.
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
