9x Dev in the United Arab Emirates is looking for a people-focused engineering leader who can hire, grow, and steward teams across engagements. You will work with tech leads and delivery leads, maintaining hands-on involvement in architecture reviews and problem-solving across multiple codebases.

Expect to interview frequently, write supportively, and keep engineering teams healthy with strong judgment on when to scale, adjust, or let go. Remote across MENA with broad regional impact.

Qualificações

• Three years managing engineers, including hiring, performance conversations, and learning from mistakes.
• Active code review involvement, continuing to understand the tech landscape.

Responsabilidades

• Run one-to-ones with team members to drive improvements.
• Own engineering hiring process and candidate experience.
• Staff engagements by matching people to client work.
• Spot trouble early in overloaded teams or stalled projects.
• Build growth ladders with meaningful progression.
• Guard capacity with delivery leads to keep commitments.
• Stay involved in architecture reviews and codebase risk assessment.
