Job summary

Planet is seeking a Customer Success Manager, Civil Government, to manage and expand relationships with public sector entities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This remote role is based in the United Arab Emirates, with a hybrid requirement if near an office.

You will drive retention, coordinate with sales, and map long-term account plans to deliver ROI for ministries, agencies, and supranational bodies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Customer Success or similar role, with government experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Knowledge of remote sensing, GIS, or geospatial imagery.
• Experience partnering with sales and understanding commercial models.
• Ability to tailor communication to technical leads and executives.

Responsibilities

• Own gross and net retention metrics for your book.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to align strategies.
• Forecast account trajectories to identify risks and expansions.
• Co-create success plans and QBRs to show ROI.
• Build relationships across complex stakeholder networks.
• Lead cross-functional teams through milestones.
• Navigate high-stakes customer situations with composure.
