Job summary

Planet is seeking a Customer Success Manager, Civil Government, to manage and expand relationships with public sector entities across EMEA. The role focuses on maximizing value from Planet’s imagery and geospatial solutions, integrating data into governmental workflows for environmental, emergency, land, maritime, and development initiatives.

You will navigate government procurement cycles, collaborate with sales, and coordinate cross-country stakeholder engagement to drive adoption and impact.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Customer Success, account management or similar customer-facing role, ideally with government entities (public sector).
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, with strong communications.
• Good working knowledge of remote sensing, GIS, or geospatial imagery products and ability to bridge tech with business value.

Responsibilities

• Own gross and net retention metrics across your book of business to ensure long-term health and growth.
• Partner with Account Executives to build unified strategies with actionable insights.
• Map long-term account trajectories to identify risks and expansion opportunities early.
• Co-create success plans and QBRs to measure ROI of Planet solutions.
• Build relationships across complex stakeholder networks to advocate for the partnership.
• Lead cross-functional teams through key account milestones for aligned execution.
