Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an AI/ML Engineer for a fully remote role listed on behalf of a partner company operating in the United Arab Emirates. You will design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications for nonprofit organizations, with emphasis on practical impact, evaluation, and responsible AI.

You will collaborate with behavioral scientists and field teams and contribute to open-source evaluation tools while mentoring partner staff and disseminating knowledge across teams.

Qualifications

• Strong foundations in mathematics, deep learning, LLMS, and modern AI systems.
• At least 4 years of hands-on machine learning engineering experience delivering end-user AI products.
• At least 1–2 years building LLM-powered applications and at least one production-grade agent.
• Experience evaluating AI systems with dataset design, evaluation methodology, and performance measurement.
• Proficiency in Python and hands-on implementation.
• Prompting and context engineering for agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, evaluate, deploy, and improve ML systems and AI-powered applications for real-world use cases.
• Contribute to open-source AI evaluation infrastructure and tools.
• Work with researchers to translate findings into reusable tools and playbooks.
• Develop rigorous evaluation methods, datasets, and performance criteria.
• Build production-grade LLM applications and agentic systems.
• Release open-source contributions from partner projects when appropriate.
