Job summary

HappyRobot is seeking a versatile Forward Deployed Engineer based in the United Arab Emirates to work directly with customers, onboarding, implementation and ongoing support while contributing to product development.

You will combine strong full‑stack skills (React, TypeScript, Node.js), Python, and AI/ML experience with excellent communication to deliver tailored solutions across integrations and APIs, partnering with product and success teams.

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python.
• Experience building AI/ML applications, including LLM prompting and tuning.
• Ability to manage APIs and integrate with third-party systems.
• Excellent communication skills for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Founder mindset with independence and ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Customer-Facing Engineering – work with customers from onboarding to ongoing usage and integration.
• Technical Development – build features, MVPs, and scalable solutions.
• Full-Stack Development – React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python for robust apps.
• AI/ML Applications – design, implement, iterate on AI/ML solutions including LLM prompting.
• Integration & APIs – manage integrations with third-party systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – partner with Product, Engineering and Customer Success.
• Iterative Problem-Solving – improve AI solutions based on feedback.
• Project Management – handle multiple projects under deadlines.
