Job Overview

The Reliability Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading preventive maintenance, improving equipment availability, supporting safety compliance, and supervising technical maintenance activity across Amazon operations in Dubai. This role supports Amazon’s Reliability Maintenance Engineering function by ensuring that equipment, automation systems, and operational technologies remain available, safe, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise reliability maintenance engineering activities across warehouse, fulfillment, or delivery network operations.
Ensure safety regulations, site policies, and maintenance procedures are followed by technicians and operational teams.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor preventive maintenance activities to ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard.
Support high equipment availability by reducing breakdowns, improving repair quality, and identifying recurring technical issues.
Lead maintenance technicians by assigning tasks, reviewing work progress, coaching performance, and supporting technical development.
Respond to equipment failures and operational disruptions with urgency while ensuring safe troubleshooting and repair practices.
Monitor maintenance schedules, inspection records, work orders, spare parts needs, and equipment performance indicators.
Work with operations teams to align maintenance activity with site priorities, production requirements, and customer delivery expectations.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes, equipment reliability, safety controls, and workflow efficiency.
Support root‑cause analysis for recurring faults and help implement corrective actions that reduce downtime.
Promote a culture of safety, ownership, teamwork, and operational discipline within the maintenance engineering team.
Ensure maintenance documentation, checklists, service records, and compliance logs are accurate and updated.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal engineering stakeholders when specialist support or technical escalation is required.
Support training and knowledge sharing for technicians on equipment handling, safety practices, and maintenance standards.
Track maintenance performance and provide clear updates to site leadership on risks, actions, and improvement priorities.

Ideal Profile

Experience in reliability maintenance, facilities maintenance, equipment maintenance, mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, automation support, or industrial engineering supervision.
Previous experience supervising maintenance technicians or technical teams in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, fulfillment, or delivery environment.
Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, repair coordination, safety procedures, and maintenance planning.
Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, conveyor, automation, material handling, or facility equipment systems is valuable.
Ability to work in a busy operational environment where safety, uptime, service quality, and quick response are essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach technicians, manage priorities, and maintain high work standards.
Good problem‑solving ability with confidence identifying root causes and supporting long‑term reliability improvements.
Strong communication skills for working with operations, engineering teams, vendors, contractors, and site leadership.
