Job summary

Rakbank is seeking an Account Opening professional to manage end-to-end onboarding for Business Banking clients in the United Arab Emirates. You will review documentation, perform due diligence, and coordinate with Relationship Managers, Sales Teams, and clients to ensure timely activation and regulatory compliance.

• Experience with onboarding processes in banking or financial services.
• Familiarity with KYC, CDD, EDD concepts and regulatory checks.

Responsibilities

• Process business account opening applications accurately and within agreed turnaround times.
• Review account opening forms and documents to ensure completeness and compliance.
• Verify trade licenses, constitutional documents, shareholder info, and authorized signatories.
• Ensure onboarding requirements are fulfilled prior to account activation.
• Liaise with Relationship Managers, Sales Teams, and clients to obtain missing documents or clarifications.
• Perform KYC, CDD, and EDD checks where applicable.
• Ensure adherence to AML, sanctions screening, FATCA/CRS, and regulatory requirements.
• Escalate high-risk cases and approvals to compliance/risk teams.
• Maintain accurate customer records and periodic updates.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Onboarding & Account Opening

• Process business account opening applications accurately and within agreed turnaround times.
• Review account opening forms and supporting documents to ensure completeness and compliance.
