Job summary

Production Resource Group, based in the UAE, seeks a Senior Accountant to independently prepare financial data and reports for UAE, KSA, and Qatar operations. You will manage journal entries, closing, forecasts, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with the Accounts & Admin team.

The role requires at least 5 years of experience and advanced qualifications (MBA/CMA/ACCA/CPA). It emphasizes confidentiality, accuracy and proactive process improvements across the region.

Qualifications

• Qualified Senior Accountant with at least 5 years in a similar role and MBA/CMA/ACCA/CPA qualification.
• Expertise in IFRS, local accounting standards, financial reporting, taxation and internal controls.
• Proficient in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare all journal entries and period-end closing for regional review.
• Ensure compliance with policies, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Reconcile general ledgers, bank statements and supporting documents.
• Prepare weekly forecasts for revenue and sales and coordinate with sales/project teams.
• Oversee accounts receivable/payable, invoicing, reconciliations and collections.
• Review supplier payments for compliance with controls.
• Coordinate with banks for guarantees and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in finalizing financial statements for monthly group reporting.
• Support budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and regional planning.
• Coordinate with auditors for annual audit and VAT/Withholding tax submissions.
