Job summary

BMW Group seeks a Manager Incident & Investigation Management to lead regional security investigations and governance across the RSO and BMW locations. You will drive incident lifecycle processes, compliance, and training for CSIM.

Role requires 6–8 years in security/investigations, cross-functional leadership, and strong regulatory awareness across multiple countries. Extensive travel and stakeholder coordination are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in security management, criminal justice, law, risk management, intelligence studies, or related field.
• 6-8 years of progressive experience in corporate security, investigations, intelligence, law enforcement, compliance, risk management, or related field.
• Ongoing professional development in investigations, incident management, interview techniques, evidence handling.
• Formal investigative training through law enforcement, military, government, or corporate investigations programmes is a strong advantage.
• Professional certifications in investigations, security, crisis management, intelligence analysis, or risk management are desirable; ISO 27001, ISO 31000, ISO 18788, ASIS CPP/PSP, NEBOSH advantageous.
• Proven experience leading complex investigations into security incidents, misconduct, theft, or information leakage.
• Experience operating across multiple countries and jurisdictions with legal, regulatory, privacy, and evidence-handling requirements.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional investigations involving HR, Legal, Compliance, Audit, Information Security, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as principal regional lead for security investigations and governance across RSOs.
• Cascade investigation- and incident-management governance to BMW locations.
• Support investigations across business functions and plants while ensuring compliance.
• Manage full incident lifecycle: capture, triage, root-cause, actions, and trend analysis.
• Lead use and training for CSIM system and ensure system compliance regionally.
• Serve as security country champion with local security coordinators.
• Assist audits and compliance activities related to information protection.
• Collaborate with Group Security investigations specialists and external partners.
• Travel extensively across the region and cover additional security responsibilities as needed.
