Job summary

Socomec Sas is seeking a Micro UPS Sales Engineer to drive growth and market expansion across the Middle East and Africa. You will identify, recruit and develop channel partners and distributors, and serve as the regional reference expert offering technical and commercial support.

The role requires strong technical sales experience in UPS and power protection, English and French languages, and willingness to travel up to 25% across MEA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics engineering or related technical field.
• 5–10 years of technical sales experience in UPS or critical power.
• Strong knowledge of UPS technologies, power backup systems and battery tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a regional sales strategy to grow Micro UPS business across the MEA.
• Identify and penetrate new markets, verticals and high-growth segments for Micro UPS applications.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, revenue objectives and market share goals.
• Build a strong sales pipeline through proactive business development and market engagement.
• Develop, recruit, and manage distributors, value-added resellers, channel partners and system integrators across MEA.
• Provide commercial and technical support to channel partners to ensure effective market coverage.
• Conduct regular training to strengthen product knowledge and solution positioning.
• Monitor market trends and feed back on technologies in UPS and power protection.
• Conduct regular customer visits to develop opportunities and strengthen relationships.
