Amazon leads MEATR Environmental Assurance and Protection in the UAE and across the region. We seek a Regional Environmental Manager to own environmental programs for QC facilities and 3P logistics, including air, water, waste, spill response, and regulatory interactions.

The role reports to the MEATR Environmental Leader and involves coordinating with Operations, Legal, and support functions to drive program adoption, training, and data reporting across five countries.

Qualifikationen

• Experience managing multiple priorities and driving goals to completion.
• Experience developing and implementing environmental compliance programs (waste, water, air).
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• 6+ years as an environment manager, program specialist, or program manager.
• Experience developing/managing environmental programs for air, waste, and water.
• Experience rolling out a compliance program across multi-site portfolios.

Aufgaben

• Support environmental compliance programs for small-format urban facilities and 3P logistics.
• Embed environmental requirements in contracts and service agreements.
• Collaborate with Operations, WHS, Legal, Engineering, and other teams to remove barriers and secure commitments.
• Identify and renew environmental permits, licenses, and reporting obligations across five countries.
• Conduct site assessments, inspections, and document corrective actions in the compliance platform.
• Roll out programs portfolio-wide with defined standards, training, and adoption criteria.
• Release network alerts on new developments and updates.
• Monitor environmental performance against KPIs and report to owners.
• Support regulatory interactions and agency inspections at QC sites.
• Prepare environmental business review reports for the business line.
• Identify large-scale opportunities to standardize programs and reduce burden on resources.
• Supervise consultants and third-party environmental providers.
