Job summary

Yubi MENA in Dubai seeks a Data Protection Officer to lead regional privacy programmes across debt marketplace, lending and financial services, ensuring regulatory compliance under UAE, DIFC, ADGM, KSA and other regimes. You will own RoPA, DPIAs, data subject rights, vendor risk, cross-border transfers and engage with regulators, boards and senior management to reinforce privacy by design.

Requires 8+ years of data protection experience in fintech or financial services, IAPP CIPM/CIPP/CIPT

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data protection/privacy roles.
• Experience as a DPO is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE PDPL, DIFC, ADGM, KSA PDPL and related regimes.
• IAPP certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Yubi MENA's regional privacy programme, ensuring regulatory alignment across jurisdictions.
• Own RoPA, DPIA governance, data subject rights and data lifecycle controls.
• Coordinate with regulators, board committees and senior management on privacy matters.
• Oversee vendor/data-sharing risk and cross-border transfers within applicable regimes.
