Job summary

Salt in Dubai is seeking a Data Privacy Manager to strengthen the organization's privacy framework within banking and financial services. You will lead risk assessments, craft policies, and ensure compliance with GDPR, DIFC, ADGM, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in data privacy, compliance, or risk management.
• Experience in the banking/financial services sector preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, DIFC DP Law and ADGM DP Regulations.
• CIPP/E, CIPM or CIPT certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data privacy risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal data privacy policies, standards, and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with regional and international data protection laws (GDPR, DIFC, ADGM, local banking rules).
• Design and maintain dashboards to monitor privacy performance, incidents, and risk indicators.
• Prepare reports and present insights to senior management and regulators.
• Collaborate with IT, Legal, Compliance and Risk to embed privacy best practices across the business.
• Provide training and awareness sessions to staff on data privacy obligations.
