Job summary

Al Khayyat Investments (AKI) is seeking a technically strong Accounting Manager to join our Regional Accounting team. This high-impact role offers ownership of accounting quality, financial controls and reporting across multiple regional entities.

You will lead month-end close, challenge numbers, drive improvements and automation, while ensuring IFRS compliance and robust balance sheet governance. Manage 3-5 Accountants under the Senior Accounting Manager.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting or controllership.
• Leadership of accounting teams across multiple entities or countries.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end, quarter-end and year-end close for regional entities.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, provisions and intercompany balances.
• Ensure IFRS and local statutory reporting compliance.
• Lead regional statutory audits and work with external auditors.
• Identify control weaknesses and implement remediation actions.
• Drive standardisation and automation across regional accounting operations.
• Collaborate with regional finance teams on transactions and controls.
• Lead, develop and manage a team of 3-5 Accountants.
