Key Responsibilities – Ammonia Refrigeration Plant Maintenance & Operation

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on ammonia refrigeration systems, chillers, compressors, valves, and associated plant equipment.
• Monitor plant systems for performance, promptly identifying, diagnosing, and resolving faults or safety concerns to minimise downtime.
• Ensure all ammonia-related activities adhere to relevant legislative requirements, health and safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Oversee plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency response processes, maintaining records as required by statutory and company standards.
• Carry out leak detection and rectification of ammonia systems; respond rapidly to alarms, troubleshooting and isolating issues methodically.
