Job summary

CBRE Excellerate is seeking an experienced HVAC/R technician to perform advanced maintenance across facilities in the UAE. The role focuses on DX systems, freezers, cold rooms, VRV/VRF, and split units, with independent fault diagnosis and preventive/reactive maintenance.

The candidate will handle emergency call-outs and ensure safe, energy-efficient operation, while adhering to HSE and PTW rules. UAE driving licence is required and FM experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and HVAC maintenance.
• Strong experience with DX units, freezers, cold rooms, VRV/VRF systems and split units.
• Valid UAE driving licence; UAE/GCC Facilities Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose refrigeration and HVAC faults and determine corrective actions.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on DX systems, freezers, cold rooms, VRV/VRF and split units.
• Carry out energy-efficient operation improvements and safe maintenance practices.
• Respond to emergency call-outs and ensure safe operation and compliance.

About the position

The main purpose of this role is to perform advanced refrigeration and HVAC maintenance across CBRE Excellerate managed facilities with particular responsibility for DX systems freezers cold rooms VRV VRF and split units The role independently diagnoses complex faults carries out preventive and reactive maintenance supports emergency call-outs and ensures safe reliable and energy-efficient operation of refrigeration systems

Decision Making Authority

This position has the authority to Diagnose refrigeration and HVAC faults and determine appropriate corrective actions Isolate equipment and stop work where an unsafe condition is identified Recommend replacement of defective components and technical improvements Verify system operation following repairs and maintenance Escalate major failures refrigerant issues and operational risks to the Technical Supervisor
