Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven Recruiter with 7–12 years of recruitment experience, preferably within the Marine, Offshore, Subsea, and Oil & Gas sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for technical marine offshore and corporate positions to ensure the attraction, assessment, and hiring of high‑caliber talent to support operational and project requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in sourcing passive and active candidates, stakeholder management, recruitment planning, talent mapping, and market intelligence across GCC and international markets. The role requires the ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously while maintaining a positive candidate experience and meeting business hiring objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process from manpower requisition through onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop recruitment strategies.
- Source, identify, and attract qualified candidates for Marine, Offshore, Subsea, Oil & Gas, and Corporate positions.
- Recruit for specialized roles including: Survey Operations Personnel; Hydrographic Surveyors; Survey Engineers; GIS Specialists; ROV/WOV Pilot Technicians; Offshore Divers; Diving Supervisors; Project Engineers; Project Managers; Port Captains; Marine Supervisors; Technical Supervisors; Offshore Construction Personnel; Vessel Crew and Marine Support Personnel; HSE Personnel; Commercial and Tendering Professionals.
- Utilize recruitment platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri Gulf, GulfTalent, Indeed, Monster, and other sourcing channels.
- Conduct candidate sourcing through Boolean searches, LinkedIn X‑Ray searches, talent mapping, networking, referrals, and industry databases.
- Screen applications, conduct competency‑based interviews, and assess technical qualifications, offshore certifications, and operational experience.
- Prepare candidate summaries and recommendations for hiring managers.
- Coordinate interviews, assessments, offer negotiations, and onboarding activities.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and recurring business positions.
- Monitor and report recruitment metrics including time‑to‑fill, sourcing effectiveness, and vacancy status.
- Support workforce planning initiatives and succession planning activities.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate databases within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including Operations, Crewing, Commercial, and Project Teams to ensure recruitment requirements are fulfilled efficiently.
- Stay informed of industry hiring trends, salary benchmarks, competitor activity, and talent availability within the Marine Offshore market.
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment campaigns across multiple channels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7–12 years of recruitment experience, preferably within Marine, Offshore, Subsea, Oil & Gas, or Engineering sectors.
- Proven experience recruiting technical, operational, marine, offshore, and project‑based personnel.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment methodologies, sourcing strategies, and direct search techniques.
- Hands‑on experience using ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and major recruitment portals.
- Ability to interpret technical job specifications and evaluate candidate suitability.
- Good understanding of offshore certifications, marine operations, vessel management, and industry‑specific staffing requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
- Experience recruiting across GCC, Middle East, Asia, Europe, and other international markets is preferred.
