Job summary

Provident Real Estate in Dubai seeks a meticulous Receivable Accountant to manage the full AR cycle, invoicing developers, landlords and clients, and reconciling AR to the GL. You will own month-end schedules and support audits, with VAT-compliant invoicing as a core duty.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 2–5 years' experience, real estate UAE exposure, strong Excel skills and ERP familiarity. UAE-specific tax knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Confirm collected commissions so agent payouts are accurate.
• Support month-end, year-end close and audits with UAE tax documentation.

Behind every successful property deal, there's a commission to invoice, collect and reconcile. At Provident Estate, that work keeps our business running smoothly and makes sure our agents are paid on time.

We're looking for a detail-oriented Receivable Accountant to manage the full receivables cycle for our brokerage, from invoicing developers, landlords and clients to keeping the ledger accurate at every month-end.

What you'll do

• Prepare and issue VAT-compliant invoices for off-plan, secondary and leasing commissions


• Follow up on outstanding balances with developers, landlords and clients, and resolve queries quickly


• Record and allocate receipts (cheques, transfers, online payments) to the right invoices


• Prepare bank, customer and developer reconciliations, and reconcile the AR sub-ledger to the GL


• Produce AR aging reports, collection forecasts and month-end schedules


• Handle credit notes, commission adjustments and cancellations


• Confirm collected commissions so agent payouts are released accurately


• Support month-end, year-end close and audits, including FTA documentation

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce


• 2 to 5 years of experience as an Accountant (not in an assistant or junior support role), with full ownership of the receivables cycle


• Real estate experience is mandatory, ideally within a UAE brokerage or developer


• UAE experience is essential


• Solid knowledge of UAE VAT and invoicing requirements


• Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations)


• Experience with an ERP or accounting system (Oracle, SAP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally or similar)


• ACCA, CMA or CPA (completed or in progress) and awareness of UAE Corporate Tax and e-invoicing are a plus


• A central role in a growing, well-established Dubai brokerage


• Direct exposure to developers, landlords and the full commission cycle


• A supportive finance team where accuracy and ownership are valued
