Job summary

Provident Real Estate is seeking a detail-oriented Receivable Accountant to manage the full receivables cycle in a Dubai brokerage. You will invoice developers, landlords and clients, reconcile AR to the GL, and ensure timely agent payouts and accurate month-end closure.

The role requires 2–5 years of accounting experience, mandatory real estate exposure in the UAE, and strong Excel and ERP skills to handle VAT compliance and AR reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• 2–5 years of experience as an Accountant with full ownership of the receivables cycle.
• Real estate experience is mandatory.
• UAE experience is essential.
• Solid knowledge of UAE VAT and invoicing requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations).
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems (Oracle, SAP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally or similar).
• ACCA, CMA or CPA (completed or in progress) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue VAT-compliant invoices for off-plan, secondary and leasing commissions.
• Follow up on outstanding balances with developers, landlords and clients, and resolve queries quickly.
• Record and allocate receipts to the right invoices.
• Prepare bank, customer and developer reconciliations, and reconcile AR sub-ledger to GL.
• Produce AR aging reports, collection forecasts and month-end schedules.
• Handle credit notes, commission adjustments and cancellations.
• Confirm collected commissions so agent payouts are released accurately.
• Support month-end, year-end close and audits, including FTA documentation.

We're looking for a detail-oriented Receivable Accountant to manage the full receivables cycle for our brokerage, from invoicing developers, landlords and clients to keeping the ledger accurate at every month-end.

What you'll do

• Prepare and issue VAT-compliant invoices for off-plan, secondary and leasing commissions
• Follow up on outstanding balances with developers, landlords and clients, and resolve queries quickly
• Record and allocate receipts (cheques, transfers, online payments) to the right invoices
• Prepare bank, customer and developer reconciliations, and reconcile the AR sub-ledger to the GL
• Produce AR aging reports, collection forecasts and month-end schedules
• Handle credit notes, commission adjustments and cancellations
• Confirm collected commissions so agent payouts are released accurately
• Support month-end, year-end close and audits, including FTA documentation

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
• 2 to 5 years of experience as an Accountant (not in an assistant or junior support role), with full ownership of the receivables cycle
• Real estate experience is mandatory, ideally within a UAE brokerage or developer
• UAE experience is essential
• Solid knowledge of UAE VAT and invoicing requirements
• Advanced Excel skills (XLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations)
• Experience with an ERP or accounting system (Oracle, SAP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally or similar)
• ACCA, CMA or CPA (completed or in progress) and awareness of UAE Corporate Tax and e-invoicing are a plus
