Job summary

Luxarabia Real Estate in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support the finance function in line with UAE regulations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, 2–3 years in real estate accounting, proficiency in Excel and accounting software, and strong organizational skills. You will handle AP/AR, payroll support, VAT compliance, and financial reporting in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of real estate accounting experience.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions including AP/AR and GL entries.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow and stage settlements for real estate transactions.
• Coordinate VAT compliance and assist with VAT returns.
• Assist payroll-related reporting and liaise with HR as needed.
• Support auditors and external service providers as required.

Luxarabia Real Estate is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring transactions, and supporting the finance function to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions
• Prepare monthly financial reports, bank reconciliations, and expense reports
• Monitor company income, expenses, cash flow, and financial transactions
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and employee expense claims
• Track real estate commission payments and maintain accurate records of agent commissions
• Assist in preparing payroll-related financial information and coordinate with HR when required
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and assist with VAT return preparation and submissions
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and other financial service providers when required
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planningMonitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up on pending payments
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies, internal controls, and applicable UAE accounting regulations
• Support management with financial analysis and ad hoc accounting reports
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee-related information

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-3 years of real estate accounting experience
• Real estate or property brokerage accounting experience is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and accounting practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills
