Job summary

Peergrowth Consultancy Co. in Dubai seeks an experienced Chief Accountant to oversee financial operations of our real estate business. The role focuses on accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and safeguarding assets.

You will manage month-end close by the 7th, coordinate with legal teams, ensure timely supplier payments, and provide management with insightful financial information using ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in finance/accounting.
• Strong knowledge of real estate financial operations.
• Native Arabic speaker with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in ERP software and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accurate financial accounts with no backlog.
• Provide timely and accurate financial information and reports to management.
• Safeguard all company assets and ensure proper insurance coverage.
• Prepare and present monthly financial statements by the 7th of each month.
• Ensure financial statements are accurate, complete, and compliant with statutory requirements.
• Handle all commercial legal and regulatory financial obligations.
• Ensure timely payment to suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
• Monitor tenant collections, provide weekly receivables statements with aging analysis and take timely action on bounced cheques.
• Coordinate with legal teams to ensure recovery of overdue receivables.
