Job summary

athGADLANG is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee the organization's accounting and financial operations in Abu Dhabi. You will lead the AR, AP, and GL functions, ensure timely month-end closures, and support budgeting and financial reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, professional certifications preferred, 5–7 years of relevant experience, strong ERP and Excel skills, and excellent communication to coordinate with auditors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA or equivalent is preferred.
• 5–7 years of accounting/finance experience with supervisory/leadership exposure.
• Hands-on experience managing AR, AP and GL functions.
• Experience in month-end closing, financial reporting and budgeting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead AR, AP and GL teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations and reports for accuracy.
• Prepare management reports and financial statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost control processes.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies.
• Coordinate with auditors and assist audit activities.
• Identify process improvements and financial efficiencies.
• Provide mentorship to the finance team.
