Job summary
Virta is seeking a billing operations professional to lead the configuration and onboarding of client billing accounts. You will collaborate with Engineering, Credentialing, Eligibility, and Finance to ensure readiness and manage the price book documentation.
You will drive platform enhancements across Athena, Zuora, and Salesforce, supervise Data/Charge Entry teams, and mentor junior staff while pursuing process improvements with AI-enabled efficiency.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of healthcare RCM experience.
- Experience with direct billing and payer implementations.
- Strong track record managing complex accounts and escalations.
- Experience overseeing Data and Charge Entry contractors/workflows.
- Advanced knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 coding and payer policies.
- Experience with Athena, Zuora, Salesforce, and JIRA.
- Ability to lead small projects or process improvements.
- Proactive use of AI tools to improve efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee configuration/setup of new client billing accounts for readiness.
- Partner with Engineering, Credentialing, Eligibility, and Finance for onboarding.
- Maintain the Price Book and update onboarding/contract docs.
- Oversee Data and Charge Entry contractors and FTEs for data accuracy.
- Drive enhancements across Athena, Zuora, and Salesforce.
- Lead process improvement projects focused on automation and scalability.
- Mentor junior team members and contractors by reviewing work.
