Job summary

RINA is seeking a Railway System Engineer (Railway T&C Engineer) to join the Al Ain office within the Electronics and System Engineering Division. The role covers integrity of systems across rolling stock, signaling, infrastructure and power, with responsibilities from design to on-site integration.

The candidate should have 5+ years in railway T&C, and a strong track record in integration, V&V and lifecycle management for rail projects.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in T&C for railway systems.
Knowledge and experience in integration/system engineering for railway systems.
Experience in sustainability in railway systems and infrastructure design, construction, and operation.
Experience with Rolling Stock (Metro, EMUs, DMUs, LRVs).
Familiar with Signaling Systems (ETCS, CBTC, PTC, Interlocking).
Experience with Electrification (25kV AC, 750V DC, 3kV DC).
Knowledge of Track Infrastructure (Standard gauge, High-Speed Rail, Light Rail, Metro).

Responsibilities

Verification & Validation activities management.
Define relevant plans and monitor execution of V&V activities.
On-site integration T&C activities (SIT, SPT, trial runs).
Define system requirements and architecture; manage interfaces between subsystems.
Ensure interoperability across rolling stock, signaling, and infrastructure.
Support lifecycle management and modernization projects.
