Job summary

RINA in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Railway System Integration Manager to lead system engineering activities across rolling stock, signaling, and infrastructure. You will coordinate interfaces, verification, and validation efforts while collaborating with system assurance experts to deliver a fully integrated railway solution.

The role requires deep experience in railway systems, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering complex projects within international standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronic/TLC Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in integration system engineering for railway systems.
• Experience focusing on sustainability in tailway systems and infrastructure design, construction, and operation.
• Proficient with Rolling Stock, Signaling, Electrification, Track infrastructure, and Interface management between hardware, software, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage railway system scenarios, requirements and architecture across subsystems and interfaces.
• Ensure interoperability and validation across national and international requirements and standards.
• Validate performance for all foreseen railway system scenarios and manage external stakeholder interfaces and authorization processes.
• Define and monitor the V&V plan to ensure railway systems meet project requirements and standards.
• Support lifecycle management, upgrades, and modernization projects for prolonged system longevity.
• Implement IoT, AI and Big Data solutions for predictive maintenance and automation in digital rail technologies.
