Job summary

RINA is recruiting for a Railway System Engineer (Interface Engineer) to join its Al Ain office within the Electronics and System Engineering Division. The role covers system design, requirements management, and integration across rolling stock, signaling, tracks, and infrastructure. You will lead V&V activities and lifecycle management for national and international projects.

The candidate should have a strong background in EN standards and experience with DOORS, MATLAB/Simulink, and EA tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in system engineering for railway projects.
• Experience with Rolling Stock, Signaling, Electrification, and Track.
• Strong requirements, interface, and configuration management.
• Knowledge of standards: EN 50126/50128/50129 and ETCS/ERTMS.

Responsibilities

• System design and architecture for railway projects.
• Manage system requirements and interfaces among subsystems.
• Validate interoperability across networks (ERTMS, CBTC, PTC).
• Oversee system integration and V&V planning.
• Lifecycle management and modernization projects.
• Digitalization and IoT/AI for predictive maintenance.
