Job summary

RINA is seeking a Railway System Engineer to integrate, verify and optimize railway systems across rolling stock, signaling, power supply and communication systems in Abu Dhabi. You will act as Testing & Commissioning Engineer for the project, collaborating with the System Engineering and System Assurance teams to complete Site Acceptance Tests and final validation of the integrated railway system.

The role requires a strong background in V&V, system architecture, and interface management, with

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Testing & Commissioning for railway systems.
Knowledge of system integration and railway engineering.
Experience with sustainability in railway design, construction, and operation.
Experience with Rolling Stock, Signaling, Electrification, and Track Infrastructure.
Interface management between hardware, software, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Verify and validate railway systems to meet project requirements and standards.
Lead on-site integration, testing, and commissioning activities (SIT, FAT, FAT).
Coordinate interfaces between subsystems and ensure proper closure of interfaces.
Support lifecycle management, upgrades and asset maintenance planning.
Collaborate with System Engineering, System Assurance, and Subsystems teams.
Drive performance optimization for capacity, energy efficiency and reliability.
