Job summary

AECOM in Abu Dhabi seeks a Civil Works Manager – Depot & Online Buildings for the High Speed Rail project. Lead a multidisciplinary civil/structural team, oversee design review, construction, QA/QC, and programme management across depot and wayside buildings along the corridor.

You will coordinate interfaces with track, OCS, signalling, and utilities, ensure compliance with Eurocodes/UAE codes, manage risk and reporting to project leadership, and mentor junior engineers on site.

Qualifications

• Fifteen+ years in design/construction of rail projects.
• At least 5 years in management of railway design/construction.
• Experience with High Speed Rail projects preferred.
• Middle East/UAE experience advantageous.
• Experience on similar size/complexity projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/structural team across depot and online buildings.
• Review design deliverables and ensure compliance with codes.
• Manage cost control, schedule, and QA/QC on site.
• Coordinate interfaces with systems contractors and clients.
• Prepare progress and risk reports for leadership.
