Job summary

Fatmeen Consultancy in Dubai seeks a mid-level Quantity Surveyor to join our architectural and engineering boutique. You will prepare and review BOQs, perform cost estimates, and support cost planning across civil, MEP, and landscaping disciplines.

This full-time on-site role offers exposure to international projects and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction/architectural consultancy.
• Strong cost awareness and budget management skills.
• Experience in BOQ preparation and cost planning to support budgets.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Contract: prepare BoQs for Enabling Works and Main Works across civil, MEP, ID, landscaping disciplines.
• Prepare PS tender packages.
• Prepare Main Contract and Enabling Contract tender packages and perform tender evaluations.
• Post-Contract: prepare payment certificates and assess contractor's claims.

The company’s services include feasibility studies, master planning, architectural design, structural design, MEP, and landscaping, among others.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor (Mid Level) role based in Dubai. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), perform cost estimates, and support cost planning.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Pre-Contract - prepare BoQs for Enabling Works and Main Works - civil, MEP, ID, landscaping - entire range of disciplines
• Prepare PS tender packages
• Prepare Main Contract and Enabling Contract tender packages and perform tender evaluations
• Post-Contract - prepare payment certificates, assess contractor's claims, etc

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Construction industry / Architectural Consultancy - at least 4 years
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Cost Control and Cost Management to monitor budgets and manage project finances effectively.
• Candidates should possess skills in BOQ preparation and Cost Planning to support accurate quantity take-offs and budget development.
