Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a commercially focused Senior Quantity Surveyor to support major building projects in Dubai. The role covers contract administration, cost control, valuations, and management of contractual matters throughout the construction lifecycle.

Responsibilities include administering commercial aspects, reviewing payment applications, evaluating variations and claims, preparing cost reports and forecasts, and monitoring budgets. MRICS accreditation is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in QS, commercial management or civil engineering.
  • 12–15 years of relevant experience in building construction supervision or consultancy.
  • Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and industry measurement standards.
  • Experience with interim valuations, claims, variations and final accounts.
  • MRICS or equivalent accreditation is advantageous.

  • Conduct measurement and valuation of completed works.
  • Participate in progress and commercial meetings with clients and contractors.
  • Prepare recommendations on contractual and commercial matters.
  • Monitor final account negotiations and project close-out activities.

  • MRICS or equivalent professional accreditation is advantageous.
