Job summary

Tate in Dubai, UAE, seeks a Quantity Surveyor to maximise commercial value across data centre projects. Based in our Dubai office, you will manage budgets, invoicing, and final accounts, with travel across the Middle East as needed.

You will review tender documents, prepare cost plans, and coordinate with contracts managers to optimise pricing and financial outcomes. The role requires strong communication and international travel readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience in construction, preferably data centre or large-scale projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents to identify requirements and risks.
• Prepare detailed cost plans, budgets, and BOQs.
• Conduct site visits and inform tender pricing with findings.
• Manage procurement of sub-contracts, labour packages, and suppliers.
• Prepare monthly valuations and invoices with supporting documentation.
• Compile, submit, and negotiate final accounts.
• Liaise with sub-contractors to resolve queries and ensure compliance.
