Job summary

Wtsenergy is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in interior fitout projects across F&B outlets, luxury villas and office spaces. The ideal candidate will manage cost control, procurement, materials knowledge, and provide accurate quantity take-offs and project cost controls.

The role requires hands-on expertise in BOQs, cost reporting, vendor negotiations, and collaboration with designers, engineers and site teams, with immediate availability preferred in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years experience as a QS within the interior fitout industry in the UAE.
• Hands-on experience in F&B, villa and office interior projects is essential.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, procurement and material management.
• Excellent understanding of drawings, specifications and technical details.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Excel and QS software tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates BOQs and budgets for interior fitout projects.
• Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings material specifications and design documents.
• Monitor project costs and prepare cost variance reports.
• Manage procurement activities including material sourcing, comparison sheets supplier negotiations and purchase recommendations.
• Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure compliance with project specifications and budget.
• Maintain updated databases of suppliers subcontractors and material rates.
• Prepare and review contracts subcontracts and commercial agreements.
• Manage variations change orders and claims in coordination with the project team.
• Support in tendering processes pricing and bid evaluations.
• Track material consumption site progress and financial status.
• Prepare periodic cost reports for management and clients.
• Support project managers with forecasts cashflow projections and commercial insights.
• Strong understanding of interior fitout materials such as finishes joinery MEP interfaces and specialty items.
• Ensure materials meet required standards and project quality specifications.
• Coordinate with designers engineers and site teams for technical clarifications.

• Strong knowledge of cost control procurement and material management.
• Excellent understanding of drawings specifications and technical details.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Excel and QS software tools.
• Strong negotiation analytical and communication skills.
• Immediate availability is mandatory.
