The position combines hands-on inspection with vendor engagement, operational audits, training, reporting, and continuous improvement. Effective quality control will help reduce customer complaints, product damage, waste, expiry, and unnecessary buying costs while strengthening confidence in Amazon 's fresh grocery offering.
Candidates should hold a bachelor 's degree and have practical experience working with Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, and food safety principles is important for this role. Candidates should also understand quality specifications for fruits and vegetables and be capable of applying those standards consistently during operational inspections.
