Job summary

DSV Road GmbH in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates seeks an Operations, Quality Assurance Specialist to verify materials against orders, review certificates, and manage inspection documents. You will coordinate with EPCM contractors, ensure proper storage, and uphold ISO 9001 standards.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 2–4 years of experience in material inspection, QA/QC, or warehouse quality control within oil & gas or EPCM projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in material inspection, QA/QC, warehouse quality control, or materials coordination within oil & gas, EPCM projects.
• Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify materials against purchase orders, packing lists, and material specifications.
• Review Material Test Certificates (MTC), Inspection Release Notes (IRN), and compliance documents.
• Prepare and submit RFI (Request for Inspection) to the EPCM Contractor and client QC team for approval.
• Ensure RFI approvals before materials are released for storage or issuance.
• Ensure materials are stored in designated areas per client specifications.
• Monitor preservation procedures and maintain preservation logs.
• Maintain records of RFIs, MRIRs, and OSD reports.
• Upload and manage inspection documents in the designated material management system.
• Raise an RFI for material issuance inspections and coordinate with client inspectors.
• Ensure proper documentation before materials leave the warehouse.
• Follow client’s engineering specs, PQP, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Coordinate RFIs with EPCM Contractor, client QC team, and Implementation Contractors.
• Maintain updated RFI log and track inspection status.
• Perform other duties to meet business needs.
