Job summary

Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Materials Inspection specialist. You will verify incoming materials against orders, review test certificates, and ensure compliance with ADNOC and project quality requirements.

Responsibilities include preparing RFIs, coordinating with inspectors, maintaining preservation logs, and ensuring proper documentation before material release from warehouse. A background in QA/QC and familiarity with ASME/ISO standards is essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience in material inspection, QA/QC, warehouse quality control, or materials coordination in oil & gas, EPC, or construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of MTC review, material traceability, preservation practices, and warehouse inspections.
  • Familiarity with ASME, ISO, and ADNOC quality requirements.
  • Experience preparing and managing RFIs and inspection-related documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems.

Job description

  • Verified all incoming materials against orders & specifications to ensure strict compliance with quality standards.

  • Reviewed Material Test Certificates, Release Notes, and compliance documents for accuracy and completeness.

  • Prepared and submitted Requests for Inspection to EPCM Contractor and ADNOC QC team for approval.

  • Ensured materials were stored in designated areas as per ADNOC's stringent storage and handling specifications.

  • Monitored & documented preservation procedures to prevent deterioration and maintained preservation logs.

  • Guaranteed material traceability by ensuring proper labeling and linking items to corresponding MTCs and docs.

  • Maintained accurate digital and physical records of all RFIs, Material Receiving Reports, and OSD reports.

  • Uploaded and managed inspection documents within the designated project material management system.

  • Raised RFIs for inspections and coordinated with inspectors to obtain necessary approvals before dispatch.

  • Ensured proper documentation was secured before any materials were released from the warehouse.

  • Conducted all inspections in adherence to ADNOC's specs, project quality plan, and ASME/ISO standards.

  • Executed material inspections as per specific procedure P30332-30-99-90-2640 and ADNOC QA/QC guidelines.

  • Coordinated all RFI activities with the EPCM Contractor, ADNOC team, and various implementation contractors

Desired Candidate Profile
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in material inspection, QA/QC, warehouse quality control, or materials coordination within oil & gas, EPC, or construction projects.

  • Experience working on ADNOC projects is highly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of MTC review, material traceability requirements, preservation practices, and warehouse inspections.

  • Familiarity with ASME, ISO, and ADNOC quality requirements.

  • Experience preparing and managing RFIs and inspection-related documentation.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems.

  • Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and stakeholder coordination abilities.
