Job summary

One Health in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Warehouse Quality Controller to support day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring compliant storage, handling, and distribution of pharmaceutical and medical equipment products. You will oversee receiving, storage, and dispatch, perform quality checks, and maintain audit-ready records.

The role requires 2–3 years in warehouse operations within healthcare/pharma, a UAE pharmacist license, and strong knowledge of MOHAP/DOH regulations and WMS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy related field (Masters preferred).
  • 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably healthcare/pharma.
  • Valid Pharmacist License per UAE law.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and WMS.
  • Strong knowledge of MOHAP/DOH regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Assistant Manager, Warehouse Operations in overseeing daily warehouse activities (receiving, storage, dispatch).
  • Ensure processes are accurate, efficient, and compliant with quality standards.
  • Ensure operations comply with regulatory requirements for pharma products and medical equipment (temperature control, storage, handling).
  • Perform quality checks on incoming goods for local/international shipments; report non-conforming materials.
  • Maintain audit-ready quality records (quality check lists, inspection reports, CAPA, temperature logs, SOP documents).
  • Identify and report quality deviations; support root cause analysis and CAPA closure.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for damaged or non-conforming materials; submit NC reports and action plans.
  • Monitor product storage/handling to meet industry standards; conduct regular audits.
  • Cross-check shipment contents against records; support timely, compliant outbound shipments.
  • Assist with regulatory approvals and permits for pharma products; manage drug classification and MOH licenses.
  • Manage end-to-end quality for product returns, recalls, counterfeit goods; train logistics staff on SOPs and GDP.
  • Request and audit Rafed’s regulatory procedures, maintenance, and facility audits.
  • Audit Rafed’s temperature/humidity logs and cold-chain equipment calibration certificates.

Job description

Main Purpose of the Job - R

esponsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods. This includes ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and maintain high standards of safety, inventory control, and staff management.

Areas of Responsibility
  • Assist the Assistant Manager, Warehouse Operations in overseeing the quality of daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
  • Ensure operational processes are executed with accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with established quality standards
  • Ensure that all warehouse operations comply with regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical products and medical Equipment, including temperature control, storage conditions, and handling processes as per UAE law and MOHAP/DOH regulations.
  • Ensure oversight of quality aspects of daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch of products, in support of the Assistant Manager, Warehouse Operations.
  • Perform and ensure quality checks on incoming goods for local and international shipments, including verification of batch numbers, expiry dates, labelling accuracy, and packaging integrity, and quarantine, document, and report any non‑conforming or damaged materials to BSQ and logistic teams.
  • Maintain accurate and audit‑ready quality records, including quality check lists and inspection reports, deviations, CAPA, temperature logs, and controlled SOP documentation, ensuring correct version control and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify, document, and report quality deviations such as temperature excursions or handling errors, and support root cause analysis while tracking corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to timely closure.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for damaged or non‑conforming materials, prepare and submit Non‑Conformity (NC) reports and Action Plans in line with OH NC Handling and Corrective Action SOPs.
  • Monitor and ensure that products, especially pharmaceuticals, are stored and managed according to industry standards. Conduct regular audits to minimize discrepancies.
  • Examine shipment contents and compare with records (manifests, invoices, orders) to verify accuracy. Support the processing of outbound shipments, ensuring that products are shipped in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Support the acquisition of necessary regulatory approvals and permits for pharmaceutical and medical related products. Manage and maintain the documentation for drug classification, registration, and MOH/DOH licenses.
  • The QC needs to Manage end-of-end quality for product returns, recalls, and counterfeit goods, incorporating pharmaceutical risk management, change control, and training for logistics staff on SOPs and GDP compliance.
  • The QC is responsible for requesting, reviewing, and holding Rafed accountable for all facility, maintenance, compliance and regulatory procedures regarding facility audits.
  • The QC is responsible for Request and audit Rafed’s automated temperature/humidity logs, periodic thermal mapping data, cold chain management and calibration certificates for all cold-chain equipment and sensors operating in facility.
Additional Requirement -
  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy related field. (Masters Preferred)
  • 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Valid Pharmacist License as per UAE law.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations management.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management software (WMS).
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, MOHAP, DOH, and industry standards
