Job Brief
The scope of work includes overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality control, inventory management, and efficient logistics.
Team Management
- Ensure that each individual in the team and the area of responsibility meets the target assigned to them for profitable sales growth.
- Provide regular performance reviews and feedback.
- Allocate tasks to team members based on operational needs.
- Motivate the team members and ensure they achieve their targets.
- Identify training needs and provide coaching to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Ensure that team members follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Approve SOPs, operational workflows, and team-related requests such as leave, per diem, and reimbursements in line with company policies.
Warehouse Management
- Manage Warehouse Coordinators, Assistants, and Drivers, regularly evaluating their performance.
- Ensure strict adherence to SOPs in daily warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with Zahrawi’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
- Conduct daily audits to minimize returned orders with errors.
- Ensure all required licenses, registrations, and calibrations are renewed before expiration.
- Manage petty cash for warehouse expenses and coordinate reimbursements with the Finance team.
- Stay informed of relevant regulations and instructions from local authorities and concerned governmental bodies.
Quality Assurance
- Monitor cold products from receipt to delivery, ensuring they remain within set temperature limits, including Data Logger results.
- Inspect product packaging from cold storage and verify Data Logger reports for consistency.
- Regularly assess the quality of vehicles, warehouse cleanliness, temperature control systems, storage conditions, and validity of product on shelves.
- Ensure regular calibration of Zahrawi Cold Vans/Delivery Vehicles and Data Loggers and update the warehouse temperature mapping.
- Ensure all necessary licenses, registrations, and calibration renewals are up to date before expiration.
- Regularly review technical and quality agreements with suppliers and customers.
Audit
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
- File all documents correctly to ensure availability and accuracy.
- Review audit suggestions and implement feasible recommendations.
Inventory Check
- Monitor and report expired products monthly to the Line Manager.
- Oversee the disposal of expired products.
- Update the status of expired/near-expiry products in NetSuite.
- Approve sales returns and ensure timely follow-ups for necessary approvals.
- Coordinate and arrange for perpetual and annual stock takes, providing updates to the Line Manager.
Transportation
- Manage Drivers and Driver Assistants.
- Oversee the management of Zahrawi vehicles and ensure timely registration.
- Monitor the movement of products in and out of the Warehouse.
Administration
- Build and maintain professional relationships with MOH staff, monitoring changes in regulations and legislation.
- Represent Zahrawi in dealings with the MOH and other relevant authorities.
- Negotiate with regulatory bodies to obtain marketing authorization.
- Address calls and emails from customers, Sales team, and support staff in a timely manner.
- Manage and resolve all warehouse-related inquiries.
- Handle urgent situations promptly, ensuring efficient resolution.
- Assist the Finance Department by providing necessary documentation for payment collection.

Requirements
- Additional details: Candidates are preferred to be based in UAE. Must have valid UAE driving license. Flexibility for early/late shifts and weekend on-calls.
- Experience: 2 + years supervisory experience.
