Job summary

EPIC Piping in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates seeks a senior Quality professional to lead the Quality Department on site. The role focuses on ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and continual quality improvement across products and processes.

You will develop and publish quality policies, handle customer complaints, and oversee audits of outsourced processors while directing quality operations and implementing project requirements (ITP, JI).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 10+ years related experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Certifications: AWS, CWI, ASNT NDT Level III.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety and environmental guidelines.
• Maintain contact with staff, third parties, quality consultants, and customers.
• Improve product and process quality across the organization.
• Develop and implement quality policies.
• Process customer complaints and claims.
• Manage and structure the Quality Department.
• Disposition off-site quality issues.
• Provide internal and external audits of outsourced processors.
• Provide monthly status reports.
• Manage and maintain the Non-Conformance Log.
• Assess welders, NDE technicians, and inspectors certifications.
• Review and approve work orders.
• Provide a management review report.
• Direct authority over Quality Department and process.
• Implement Quality Manual, Procedures and project requirements (ITP, JI).
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

Comply and ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and regulations.

Maintain ongoing contact with staff members, third party personnel, quality consultants, and customers.

Maintain a continual improvement of the product & process throughout the entire organization.

Develop advice, publish, and implement policies pertaining to Quality.

Processing of complaints and claims from customers.

Manage and Structure the Quality Department.

Disposition off-site Quality Issues that may be of concern to the company

Provide Internal Audits and External Audits of Outsourced Processors.

Provide Monthly Status Reports.

Manage and Maintain the Non-Conformance Log.

Assess the performance of welders, NDE Technicians, and Inspectors to determine if their certification needs to be removed.

Review and Approve Work Orders.

Provide a Management Review Report as required.

Direct authority over Quality Departments and personnel.

Direct authority over the quality process.

Other activities as assigned.

Implement Quality Manual, Procedures and applicable project requirements (i.e. ITP, JI, etc)
