Job summary

SUNDUS MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY & STUDIES BUREAUL.L.C is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections and ensure compliance with specifications. You will review drawings, ITPs, and quality standards, document non-conformities, and support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing environments.

Required are 4–6 years of QA/QC experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with measurement tools, plus knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in quality inspection/QA-QC in manufacturing, engineering, construction, or industrial environments.
  • Good knowledge of quality management systems and inspection procedures.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and relevant industry standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Experience with measuring and inspection tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other relevant equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials, components, and finished products.
  • Review technical drawings, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality standards.
  • Ensure products and processes comply with applicable specifications, codes, and company quality procedures.
  • Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections using appropriate measuring and testing equipment.
  • Identify, document, and report quality defects and non-conformities.
  • Prepare inspection reports, checklists, NCRs, and other quality-related documentation.
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, procurement, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Monitor corrective and preventive actions and verify their effectiveness.
  • Inspect and verify materials received from suppliers against approved specifications and documentation.
  • Support supplier and subcontractor quality assessments when required.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and ensure proper document control.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits.
  • Ensure calibration status of inspection and measuring equipment is maintained.
  • Investigate recurring quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints.
  • Ensure compliance with company HSE and quality policies.

Desired Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in quality inspection/QA-QC, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, construction, or industrial environments.
  • Good knowledge of quality management systems and inspection procedures.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Preferred Certifications
  • ASQ / CQI certification or equivalent quality qualification.
  • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification.
  • Relevant NDT certifications where applicable.
  • Other industry-specific inspection certifications would be an advantage.
