Job summary

Epic Piping is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead our Fabrication team and uphold top-quality standards on national and global projects. You will ensure safety, drive process improvements, and supervise audits, documentation, and the Non-Conformance Log.

The role requires strong leadership, deep QA expertise, and a track record in fabrication or inspection, with AWS CWI and ASNT NDT Level III certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
• 10–15 years of experience in fabrication or inspection.
• AWS CWI and ASNT NDT Level III certifications preferred.
• Proficiency with weld logging and NDE reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety and environmental guidelines, policies and regulations.
• Maintain ongoing contact with staff, third party personnel, quality consultants and customers.
• Drive continual improvement of products and processes across the organization.
• Develop, publish and implement Quality policies.
• Process customer complaints and claims.
• Manage and structure the Quality Department.
• Disposition off-site Quality issues affecting the company.
• Provide internal and external audits of outsourced processors.
• Provide monthly status reports.
• Manage and maintain the Non-Conformance Log.
• Assess welders, NDE technicians and inspectors for certification needs.
• Review and approve work orders.
• Provide management review reports as required.
• Direct authority over Quality Department personnel and processes.
• Implement Quality Manual Procedures and project requirements (ITP, JI, etc.).

WHAT YOU LL DO

• Comply and ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines policies and regulations
• Maintain ongoing contact with staff members third party personnel quality consultants and customers
• Maintain a continual improvement of the product amp process throughout the entire organization
• Develop advice publish and implement policies pertaining to Quality
• Processing of complaints and claims from customers
• Manage and Structure the Quality Department
• Disposition off-site Quality Issues that may be of concern to the company
• Provide Internal Audits and External Audits of Outsourced Processors
• Provide Monthly Status Reports
• Manage and Maintain the Non-Conformance Log
• Assess the performance of welders NDE Technicians and Inspectors to determine if their certification needs to be removed
• Review and Approve Work Orders
• Provide a Management Review Report as required
• Direct authority over Quality Departments and personnel
• Direct authority over the quality process
• Other activities as assigned
• Implement Quality Manual Procedures and applicable project requirements i e ITP JI etc
