Job summary

Amazon in Dubai is seeking a Category Quality role focusing on Meat, Seafood, Produce and Perishable items. This position supports the MENA Grocery team by ensuring quality standards across inbound, packing and stakeholder processes.

Role involves collaboration with store ops, vendor managers and fulfillment partners, driving improvements and automation while maintaining high standards and ensuring customer satisfaction. Weekend work may be required up to 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or experience in written and oral communication including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical business executive)
• Experience with MS Office Professional Suite and excellent working knowledge of MS Excel
• HACCP PIC 3 (Person In Charge) - certified by Dubai Municipality ISO 22000 GMP
• Food Safety Knowledge of fruits and Vegetable Quality specifications familiar with Dubai F&V Market - Al Aweer central fruit Market
• Experience in a fast-paced high-tech company or experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
• Experience communicating to senior management and customers verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

• Review the quality of Meat Seafood Fruits Vegetables Eggs and other perishable items during the inbound at Amazon stores hubs and vendors sites
• Reject the damaged/defective items back to the vendor
• Make a note of the items rejected during the inbound (by item/by vendor quantity)
• Audit the quality during picking & packing process performed by the LPC associates
• Monitor the Packaging standards during packing process
• Perform daily audit of Bins and share weekly/daily report with the stakeholders
• Train the store and hub associates on quality SOPs and packaging.
