Amazon Now (AE) is hiring for a Quality & Perishables role focused on Meat, Seafood, Produce and other perishables. You will assist vendors to meet the Amazon quality bar, drive process improvements, and collaborate with instock, vendor managers, store operations and fulfillment partners to reduce damage and improve customer satisfaction.

This role emphasizes daily quality checks, auditing packing, and training store/hub staff.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong English communication (written and verbal).
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• At least 1 year of prior work experience in Fresh Produce and Fresh Perishable category is mandatory.
• PIC (Level 3) certificate.
• HACCP Certificate.
• ISO 22000, GMP.

Mansioni

• Review the quality of Meat, Seafood, Fruits, Vegetables, Eggs, and other perishable items during inbound at Amazon stores, hubs and vendors sites.
• Reject the damaged/defective items back to the vendor.
• Make a note of the items rejected during inbound (by item/by vendor, quantity).
• Audit the quality during picking & packing process performed by the LPC associates.
• Monitor the Packaging standards during packing process.
• Perform daily audit of Bins and share weekly/daily report with the stakeholders.
• Train the store and hub associates on quality, SOPs and packaging.
• The role might require work over weekend but not exceeding 40 hours work week
