Job summary

ALEC FITOUT is seeking a meticulous QA/QC Inspector to uphold the highest quality standards on fitout projects in the UAE. You will inspect materials, in-process works, and completed fitouts, verify drawings and specs, and document non-conformances for corrective actions.

You will report to the QA/QC Officer and collaborate with production and site teams to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and client requirements, maintaining precise inspection records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in QA/QC or inspection in fitout.
• Ability to read technical and architectural drawings.
• Experience using inspection tools (calipers, gauges, levels, tapes).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality documentation.
• Attention to detail and analytical skills.

About Your Team

You will report to the QA/QC Officer and work closely with production and site teams to conduct inspections, monitor compliance with technical drawings and specifications, and help implement quality control procedures. Your work ensures our fitout works meet both internal standards and client expectations.

Your Role

As a QA/QC Inspector, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting inspections on materials, in-process works, and completed fitout works
• Verifying compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality benchmarks
• Identifying and documenting non-conformances and supporting corrective actions
• Ensuring proper use and calibration of measuring tools and equipment
• Collaborating with production and site teams to resolve quality issues
• Supporting internal and external audits
• Maintaining accurate records of inspections, reports, and test results

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

Minimum 2 years in a QA/QC or inspection role within a fitout environment.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding of fitout materials, construction methods, and installation techniques
• Ability to read technical, architectural, and fitout drawings
• Proficiency in using inspection tools (e.g., calipers, gauges, levels, measuring tapes, and templates)
• Attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite and quality documentation
• Understanding of ISO 9001 and root cause analysis (desirable)
