Job summary

Howco Group seeks a dedicated Quality Inspector/Quality Controller to oversee inspections from incoming materials through final dispatch. The role emphasizes adherence to HOWCO Quality and HSE procedures, along with calibration management and continuous improvement.

The candidate will perform visual, dimensional, hardness and special process validations, while ensuring compliance with customer requirements and GIR procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Quality Control experience.
• Awareness of Howco and local HSE policy.
• Ability to read and understand NDE procedures & acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to HSE and quality policies.
• Perform incoming material inspection against PO requirements.
• Conduct First Off/In-Process inspections per drawings and routes.
• Perform final inspection against specifications and job sheets.
• Maintain calibration records and Q-Pulse entries.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.

Role Requirements

To ensure inspection at various stages of processes from incoming to final dispatch are performed in compliance with HOWCO Quality / HSE procedures to meet set Quality /HSE objective targets and other QC related duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

Adhere to Howco Group H&S Environmental and quality policies

Perform incoming material inspection by confirming PO requirements & Howco GIR procedure.

Perform First Off Approval / In-Process inspection by confirming to Job sheet/Drawings/Route sheet (conducting visual and Dimensional measurement)

Ensure the process is performed as per set Quality procedures, instructions, and when applicable in line with any customer requirements if any.

Perform final inspection of finished products by confirming to specifications/Drawings /Job sheet/route sheet ;(conducting visual, Hardness and Dimensional measurement)

Perform re-work inspection to confirm parts meets re work acceptance criteria if applicable

Perform special process validation (Like Phosphate ...)

Regularly check the Q-Pulse for calibration schedules and effectively plan the calibrations to complete it on or before the due date.

Perform in-House Calibration, prepare calibration records, apply calibration stickers update Q-pulse asset module, and retain calibration reports in Q-Pulse on or before the due date.

Ensure all available instruments used for inspection of products are registered within Q-Pulse asset module, unique SI# itched on each instrument and are in is the instruments in use.

Perform in house Liquid Penetrant Test

Perform API Monogram Marking

Actively Participate in any continuous improvement projects initiated by HOWCO

Report any new potential risk or opportunities identified during the processes which are not considered previously

Any other Duties as per Company’s Requirement

Awareness of Howco HSE Policy, conscious on related Policies

Competent in using measuring instruments

Competent in performing Brinell Hardness test per Howco Procedure Satisfactory Visual Acuity as defined in Howco VI Procedure Competent on Howco Quality procedures identified for the role

Knowledge in API connections/ Requirements.

Satisfactory Visual Acuity as defined in Howco VI Procedure.

Knowledge of AQL Plan requirements.

Competent to perform special process validation /inspection per Howco Phosphate procedure

Competent and Knowledge of Gardobond G4098 Manganese Phosphate(MSDS/Technical data)

Competent to perform in house calibration per Howco calibration procedureCompetent in Q-Pulse software

Qualified and certified in accordance with a written practice that complies With SNT-TC-1A.

Competent to perform examinations in accordance with Howco LPT Procedure

Ability to read and understand customer NDE procedures & acceptance criteria

Competent to perform API Monogram Marking per Howco procedure.

Has good communication and interpersonal skills

Awareness of HOWCO Risk & Contingency procedures

Recording all the check parameters on GIR Form.

Q-pulse CAPA register

Timely preparation and retention of records and reports

Calibration Sticker to be available all the measuring instruments.

Prepare and retain LPT Inspection records as required by the order.

Prepare and maintain Process validation report ,as per Howco LPT procedure

API monogram shall only be applied to parts or products which conform to the Applicable API product specification acceptance criteria requirements

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Awareness of Howco and Local Country HSE Policy

ITI/ Diploma or equivalent.

3+ years Quality Control experience

Working knowledge of measurement instruments
