Job summary

Connect Resources in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified QHSE professional to lead audits, training, and the development of a robust QHSE management system. The role focuses on incident investigation, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities spanning reports, meetings, drills, and knowledge of local legislation.

Fluency in English required; Arabic or French is a bonus for diverse teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in QHSE roles with a track record of compliance.
Certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO 45001 or ISO 14001.
Experience in oil & gas, construction, or manufacturing industries.
English fluent; Arabic or French a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify compliance gaps and corrective actions.
Develop and implement training programs on health, safety, and environment regulations.
Collaborate with management to maintain a QHSE management system.
Investigate incidents and near misses, documenting findings and preventive measures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and industry practices.
Prepare and present reports on QHSE performance and trends.
Facilitate QHSE meetings and workshops to promote safety culture.
Coordinate emergency drills and safety training per local regulations.
